About ARK

Like many reptile hobbyists and breeders, we started with a curiosity in reptiles. As kids, Zach and Steph both had a love for animals and were no strangers to reptiles; with family members owning various species and even breeding some species. 

The New Caledonian Species stood out to us because of their ease of care, when compared to many other pet reptile species.

We started spending more time at the expos; interacting with other breeders as well as spending time assisting them with caring for their collections and running expos. Throughout that time of gaining experience, we also continued to add to our own collection of reptiles -- focusing on establishing high-end breeders.

Eventually, we branched off on our own. Deciding on a name for the company was not difficult. We had seen much of the reptile community, first-hand, and realized that there was something that had seemed to disappear slowly over the years. The sense of COMMUNITY was no onger there, or very difficult to find. Comradery, support, encouragement, mentoring, and a sense of family were missing. 

So, we established ARK (Alliance Reptile Kollaborations) on November 16, 2021 not just as gecko breeders, but as a link to bring breeders, hobbyists, and reptile lovers together for a common goal: To promote excellence in reptile keeping and inspire a lifelong love for reptiles.

When one member of the reptile community is thriving, we are all thriving!
